Have nothing planned for the weekend…Netflix is one of the best ways to burn time and be extremely entertained at the same time.  For only $8 a month, a case of Mountain Dew and plenty of snacks at hand, here is the best way to spend your next 24 hours plus on Netflix.

TV Marathon

Netflix

Arrested Development

14 New Episodes | 7 Hours

The nerds asked and Netflix has delivered. Resurrected from the dead, creator Mitchell Hurwitz and the whole original cast including Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Michael Cera and David Cross return for 14 more episodes.

Only available on Netflix, the new episodes experiment with a new kind of viewing experience.  While there is a suggested way of viewing, each episode is independent of each other in an overall interconnecting story.

Netflix

House of Cards

14 Original Episodes | 14 hours

Netflix used their extensive amount of data to research what type of viewers enjoyed the original BBC thriller House of Cards before committing to the $100 million project. They also found that users who liked the original also liked films starring Kevin Spacey and director David Finchner so the new series was a no brainer.

This phenomenal Netflix original series, delivers an Emmy worthy effort and must watch for any Netflix subscriber.

Comedy Special

Netflix

Jim Jefferies: Fully Functional

1 Hour Stand Up Special

Following in the footsteps of comic great, Louis CK, Jim Jefferies has a new show on FX based on his stand up.  Why? You’ll see in his special, Fully Functional.

So grab and beer or 12 and get ready to watch Jim Jefferies tell some of his personal stories about childhood, sex and drugs.  You’ll question your religion, but more importantly laugh your fucking ass off as nothing seems too offensive when you’re talking in an Australian accent.

Netflix

Louis CK: Live at the Beacon Theater

1 Hour Stand Up Special

Speaking of Louis CK, he has been on top of the comedy world for a couple years now.  He was nominated for best actor in a comedy at the Golden Globes for his work in his FX show, Louie, and raked in over $1 million for his $5 stand up special that was only available via download on his website.

Yet you can watch it for free streaming on Netflix, so enjoy!

Double Feature

Pulp Fiction

Pulp Fiction

Running Time: 2 Hours

If your eyes aren’t ready to bleed yet, finish your viewing marathon with a double feature from one of the best writer/directors, Quentin Tarantino.  First up, Pulp Fiction. Winner of best original screenplay at the 1994 Academy Awards,  its the perfect combination of story, humor and Samuel L. Jackson.

Pulp Fiction is one of the highest rated movies on streaming and well worth the last few hours of your weekend.

Netflix

Reservoir Dogs

Running Time: 2 Hours

Reservoir Dogs is a diamond in the rough when it comes to all of Quentin Tarantino’s great films.  However, there will be nothing to complain about after you finish this movie.

Reservoir Dogs has some of the best conversation in a film and a musical torture scene that rivals Christian Bale’s in American Psycho.
